Our Mathematical and Value-Oriented Approaches
The Janus Advantage

Janus Capital Group offers distinct investment approaches through its three boutique firms: Janus, Perkins and INTECH. Janus' fundamental, bottom-up research is at the core of its investment philosophy while INTECH and Perkins specialize in mathematical-based risk-managed and value investing.

INTECH, founded in 1987, adheres to a highly-disciplined investment process, using price volatility and the relationship between the movements of the different stocks to create the potential for excess returns with less risk. We believe the mathematical theory and unwavering pursuit of a statistical advantage that back INTECH U.S.Core Fund and INTECH Global Dividend Fund make it stand out in the mutual fund universe. The Fund aims to provide returns in excess of its primary benchmark while reducing the risk of significant underperformance relative to the benchmark. No matter what the market environment, the same principles are applied.

Our value funds offered through Perkins Investment Management seek to outperform their benchmark and peers over a full market cycle by building diversified portfolios of what they believe to be high quality, undervalued stocks with favorable reward to risk characteristics. They believe that rigorous downside analysis conducted prior to determination of upside potential allows them to mitigate losses during difficult markets and perform well in up markets.

Please consider the charges, risks, expenses and investment objectives carefully before investing. Please see a prospectus , or if available, a summary prospectus containing this and other information. Read it carefully before you invest or send money.

There is no assurance that the investment process will consistently lead to successful investing.

The proprietary mathematical process used by INTECH may not achieve the desired results. Since the portfolio is periodically re-balanced, this may result in a higher portfolio turnover rate, higher expenses and potentially higher net taxable gains or losses compared to a "buy and hold" or index fund strategy.

INTECH Investment Management LLC and Perkins Investment Management LLC are indirect subsidiaries of Janus Capital Group Inc. and serve as investment advisers on certain products.
